After breakfast next to a waterfall, we caught the free trolley bus around Waikiki and Honolulu and saw some of the important sites, as well as some stunning scenery.
The afternoon was spent swimming and resting before heading down to the shops in the hopefully cooler late afternoon. Lester had the great idea we were going to walk down the beachwalk to the shops.
Unfortunately he didn't realise that there are a couple of places on the beach walk where you wade through quite high sea water, and are attacked by the incoming tide. Fortunately Sanna piggy backed Lexi through this. Unfortunately esteem stood and laughed at me when I couldn't quite make the run between the two sides in time and ended up with the tide coming up nearly to my waist! It was a driving shopping trip for a while till I dried out. (Actually not too long in this heat!)
On the way back to the hotel the kids found the Candy shop!
Then it was time for dinner
...and heading off to bed
